Presentation of basic issues and terminology in the field of databases and relational model.

Getting to know the methods of database design. Preparing a relational database schema

based on selected models. Formulating queries in SQL. Gaining knowledge about the

optimization of databases. Presentation of the concept of transactions and concurrency
