Założenia (opisowo): | The student learns the standards of functioning of the complex structures of the European Union, its legal base and institutions as well as procedural changes arising as part of the evolution of the Community. |

The aim of the course is to acknowledge students with the mechanisms of functioning of the European Union. Students will be introduced not only to the procedures and descriptions of policies but also to how European Union really functions and why European integration matters. After the classes students will gain competence in critical discussion on the topic, group work and project presentation. |

Profile of studies: general academic Form of study: full-time Course type: major Module: M_3 Field and discipline of science: economic sciences, discipline: economics Year of study / semester: First-cycle studies, year II, semester 3 Prerequisites (so-called sequential system of classes and exams) - Number of didactic hours divided into forms of lectures - 15 hours, seminar - 15 hours, Teaching methods: lecture with the use of power point presentations, seminar (individual and group work), Assessment methods: final written exam, test, presentation ECTS credits 4 Student workload balance: Participation in lectures - 15 hours, Preparation for the lecture - 15 hours. Preparation for the final exam - 15 hours. Conversatorium - 15 hours Preparation for the seminar - 20 hours. Preparation for the test - 15 hours. Consultation - 3 hours Final exam - 2 hours Quantitative indicators: Student workload related to activities requiring direct teacher participation - 35 hours. ECTS 1.4; of a practical nature: 10, ECTS - 0.4. |

Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
Teaching methods: - a traditional lecture conducted with the use of power point presentations, engaging listeners to ask questions during the lecture, - seminars: exercises engaging students to work individually and in a group (in task teams), Forms of getting a credit: - lecture: final exam in the issues covered by the lecture, only students who pass the seminar are allowed to take the exam, - seminars: credit for the grade on the basis of activity (individual and group - task teams) and a written test. |
