The aim of the course is to develop the ability to actively use a foreign language in everyday communication situations, as well as the ability to understand and use specialized language in the field of chemistry. |
Pełny opis: |
First degree studies; broad-academic profile; full-time studies; foreign language; obligatory course, general education module; I year, semester II. Students should have knowledge of vocabulary and grammar structures of a foreign language in order to be able to take B2 level. Number of hours: 30h. Form of course: 30 hours of classes (including up to 25% online). ECTS credits: 2 The total student workload: 50 hours including: the participation in classes: 30 hours; preparation for classes, tests: 14 hours; participation in consultations: 4 hours. The student workload related to the activities: involving direct participation of the teacher 34 h 1.4 ECTS of practical character 50 h ECTS:2 |

The student is able to prepare written works typical for the course of study and specialization (e.g. reports, process descriptions, summaries of scientific and popular articles) KA6_UK1. The student is able to use specialist vocabulary in the field of chemistry The student can easily communicate in foreign language at B2 level. The student reads chemical texts with understanding. KA6_UK2, The student has the ability to prepare oral presentations related to the field of chemical sciences (e.g. presentations, short papers) using a variety of sources.KA6_UK3. Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
A credit after II semester. Classes are conducted in the form of stationary classes and online max. 3 x2 hours. 50% pass mark of e-learning modules is required. Material from e-learning modules is tested on written tests. Credit in the form of written tests - 2 tests passed at least on 51%, written paper. Attendance in classes -2 absences in a semester are allowed without the obligation to make up for it, preparation for classes and activity during classes Grading scale: 100% - 90% - very good (5.0) 89% - 80% - good plus (4.5) 79% - 70% - good (4.0) 69% - 60% - Sufficient plus (3.5) 59% - 51% - Sufficient (3.0) |
