Skrócony opis: |
The aim of the course is to acknowledge student with the topic of international business finance, especially to characterize financial instruments used in international transactions, currency markets, international instutions and financial organizations, as well as methods of international trade settlements in foreign trade exchange of national and international companies. After the course students will gain competence in critical discussion on aspects of short-term and long-term financing of international business. Students gain understanding of implications of conducting business activities in international dimension - changes of foreign exchange rates, currency risk and risk management. |

Teaching methods: - informational and conversational lecture (activating students conducted with the use of multimedia presentations, analysis of documents - case studies, comments on recent events, - classes were conducted using methods: individual work, group work, moderated discussions. ECTS points: 6 Student workload balance - type of student's activity: participation in lectures - 15 hours preparation for lectures / literature studies - 20 hours preparation for the exam - 20 hours participation in classes - 30 hours preparation for classes - 30 hours preparation for the test - 24 hours participation in consultations hours - 9 hours participation in the exam - 2 hours Student workload related to the course, number of hours / ECTS points requiring direct teacher participation: 56h - 2,24 ECTS points, of a practical nature: 55h - 2,20 ECTS points |

Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
Lectures: written exam (test) in the field of lectures' topics, the grade will include the activity in the form of remote teaching, students who have completed the classes previously are allowed to take the exam. Classes: grade on the basis of: test result, group works result and activity during classes. Two absences are allowed. Absences should be catched up during consultations hours. |
