Założenia (opisowo): | (tylko po angielsku) Transport economics aims to familiarise students with the key issues for the efficient functioning of the "Transport Shipping and Logistics" industry. Students use the knowledge acquired in all courses of their studies during the course, expanding it with issues related to transport, forwarding and logistics. During the meetings, students carry out exercises based on practical problems. The element summarising the cycle is a case study combining a significant part of the issues of transport economics and defending the position in front of the group forum. |

(tylko po angielsku) During the course, students will discuss topics related to transport economics. The student's task will be to locate transport in science and economy (theoretical and practical). The course will help students understand the role of transportation in the economy of the 21st century. Students will work on the organisation and measurement of transport during the following meetings and discuss the demand and supply in individual modes of transportation. They will also deal with costs, including environmental costs, of transport. An important issue will also be the price of the transport service and ensuring the efficiency of the transport company. |

(tylko po angielsku) Exercises: 1. form of credit: oral and written - the total number of points obtained from the colloquium, project of transportation, entrance tickets, activity in classes (discussions, presentations) and on the platform (in the case of e-learning) * 2. Percentage of the achievement of learning outcomes to obtain the grade: very good - 100% - 91%, good plus - 90% - 81%, good - 80% - 71%, sufficient plus - 70% - 61%, sufficient - 60% - 51%, insufficient - 50% and less 3. The credit obtains more than 51% of the total points and participation in at least 13 out of 15 meetings. * if the remote form occurs in a given academic year |
