To provide knowledge of the relationship between crime and migration, the criminalisation of migration and the securitisation of migration, as well as examples of the regulation of criminalisation of migration and securitisation in European Union and Polish law.

Student workload balance - participation in classes 16 hours (5 h synchronous classes, 2h asynchronous classes) preparation for classes and graded credit 50 hours, participation in consultations related to classes 11 hours. Total: 75 hours, corresponding to 3 ECTS credits

Quantitative indicators - student workload related to activities requiring the teacher's direct participation 25 hours, which corresponds to 1 ECTS points, and student workload that does not require direct teacher participation 50 hours, which corresponds to 2 ECTS points.

- key issues concerning the multidirectional relationships between individuals and society, as well as the public and private sectors, including the resulting fundamental dilemmas of modern civilization – KP7_WK2.

- advanced economic, legal, organizational, and ethical aspects related to the functioning of public and private sector entities, international bodies, or social organizations in the context of public security – KP7_WK4.

Skills

A graduate is able to:

- conduct debates on the relationship between the intensity of negative social phenomena and the adequacy of organizational and legal measures undertaken by public and private sector entities – KP7_UK2.

- prepare written analyses or engage in debates on legal and criminological topics – KP7_UK3.

- collaborate with others and take on a leading role in team efforts to effectively accomplish assigned tasks – KP7_UO1.

Social Competence

A graduate is prepared to:

- undertake an in-depth and critical evaluation of the rationality, applicability, and effectiveness of existing legal and institutional solutions for preventing and combating crime – KP7_KK3.

Grade scale from 2 to 5.

The final grade consists of:

- preparation of Powerpoint presentation on topic given by teacher and its oral presentation

- completion of tasks from asynchronous classes and class active participation may incrise final grade by 0,5.

Depending on the regulations, the final examination may be conducted using electronic means of communication.
