Skrócony opis: |
International Family Law classes will teach students about different aspects of family law in Europe and all over the world. First, the regulations on family law in different countries will be discussed. Then we will discuss EU and another countries regulations on family law. Since family law is in general excluded from EU regulation, we will identify the fields where it appears - regadless general rule. Attention will also be paid to the question of conflict of law in different countries, as well as to the role of the ECJ and the ECHR. The family law conventions of Council of Europe will be also discussed. Legal initiatives about the steps to convergate family law in the European states and another countries will be demonstrated. Finally, the students will try to discuss the possible future of family law in Europe and the countries situated outside the Europe. The crucial question is: is there a need to move forward the EU, UN and another countries regulations on family law? |
