Short description: |
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the theoretical and practical aspects of intercultural communication, especially verbal and non-verbal behavior depending on the cultural context, preparation for the role of an intercultural mediator and teaching didactic skills in teaching intercultural competence in English lessons. |

(in Polish) Nazwa kierunku / specjalności studiów: Kierunek: filologia obca nauczycielska Poziom kształcenia: studia I stopnia Profil studiów: ogólno akademicki Forma studiów: stacjonarne Rodzaj przedmiotu: obowiązkowy Dziedzina nauk humanistycznych, dyscyplina językoznawstwo Rok studiów /semestr: II rok/ 1 semestr, Punkty ECTS: 2 Liczba godzin zajęć dydaktycznych oraz forma prowadzenia zajęć: 30 ćwiczenia Metody dydaktyczne: heurystyczna, problemowa, podająca, warsztatowa Bilans nakładu pracy studenta: udział w zajęciach 30h, udział w konsultacjach związanych z zajęciami 15h, przygotowanie do zajęć i zaliczenia 15h. Razem: 60h (odpowiada 2 pkt. ECTS) Wskaźniki ilościowe: nakład pracy studenta związany z zajęciami wymagającymi bezpośredniego udziału nauczyciela 45h (odpowiada 1,5 pkt. Forms of work: work individually, in pairs and groups The basis for passing is: • Presence and active participation in classes (one unexcused absence is allowed) • Prepare a presentation on the dimensions of culture and culturally conditioned non-verbal behavior • Preparation of a set of exercises to assess intercultural skills • Analysis of intercultural differences and barriers in teaching English |
