Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
1. Attendance: Attendance is mandatory. Students are allowed 1 absence. Subsequent unexcused absences should be made up within two weeks from the date of absence. Students are responsible for reporting and making up absences on their own. Each unexcused absence that is not made up results in the deduction of 1 point. Absence does not exempt students from completing homework assignments or making up missed class activities. Four unexcused absences, if not made up, will result in the inability to pass the course. 2. Quizzes/Homework: A total of 4 quizzes/homework assignments are allowed. Each quiz/homework assignment is worth 1 point. Total: 4 points. 3. Individual/Group Projects: During 6 classes, students will work on individual or group projects. Projects will be completed during class time. Each project will be worth 1 point, total: 6. 4. Final Individual Assignment: The final assessment of the course will be in the form of an individual written assignment. Students can earn a maximum of 10 points for the final assignment. Statement on the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The use of AI is permissible at every stage of the work provided that: a) The intention to use AI shall first be consulted with me. b) Students will explain how they intend to utilize AI support. c) In the final work, there will be a statement on the use of AI along with a declaration of how AI was utilized. In the event that these steps have not been taken by the students, and tests reveal that the work has been written with a probability of 75% (or higher) using AI, then similar to the case of plagiarism detection, passing the course is not possible. To pass the course, a student must achieve at least 51% of the total points available. Grading will be based on a point system: 19-20 points = 5 17-18 points = 4.5 15-16 points = 4 13-14 points = 3.5 11-12 points = 3 0-10 points = 2 |
