Skrócony opis: |
The course is constructed around the categories of social art and public space. As such, it can be seen as part of sociology of the arts, however we will be leaning towards a more democratic approach to the arts, or a broadened definition of art. It is intended to bridge theoretical insights with practical experiences in the field of art, including public art walks, gallery visits and arts participation. By “animation” it is understood that public spaces can be in varied ways invigorated or enlivened by means of artistic practices. |
