  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;
  • nakład pracy potrzebny do zaliczenia przedmiotu, któremu przypisano 3 ECTS, stanowi 10% semestralnego obciążenia studenta.

The Sociology of Deviance course is the introduction to the subject of deviance and social control. The students will be discussing the phenomena of deviance in society based on some available literature. In general, the main topics are deviance, crime, and social control. The course will provide the concepts, theories and generalization significant from the sociological perspective.

- preparation of essay 30 hours

Quantitative indicators: Contact hours with the academic teacher:

Participation in exercises - 30 hours,

Consultation with academic teachers - 14 hours

KP6_KO2 - is open to work in a group, being able to assume various roles in it, sees the need for managing teams creatively

verification methods for all learning outcomes: work during classes, discussion, final essay

Metody i kryteria oceniania:

The final grade will be based on:

- activities during classes,

- presence - two absences are allowed,

- final essay.

Extra absence needs to be consulted.

If a student does not attend more than 50% of classes, the course is failed.

People with special educational needs are obliged to report their needs to the teacher no later than two weeks after the start of classes.

It is allowed to conduct classes, consultations and assessments remotely. The basic platform on which classes are conducted is the platform recommended by UwB. A student taking part in remote classes should have access to a computer with an Internet connection.

Classes are conducted taking into account the principles of universal design.

The use of AI chat should be consulted with the instructor.

Cases of plagiarism will be reported to the disciplinary committee.
