All learning outcomes will be verified during the oral exam.

Oral exam. The student answers one question drawn from the pool of questions. Questions will be delivered to students no later than two weeks before the end of the semester.

Assessment criteria (the level of knowledge required for a particular grade):

sufficient (3) - the student knows the general reasons for the underdevelopment of less developed countries and counteracting measures but does not fully understand their explanation in the economic theory. The student can generally characterise the current diversity of development in the world and the appropriate measurement methods.

Good (4) - the student has a satisfactory level of knowledge and understands the historical background, conditions and theoretical explanations of the existing diversity of development. The student can characterise selected development indicators and is aware of their imperfections

excellent (5) - the student knows and understands very well the existing development diversity, the reasons for the underdevelopment of less developed countries and counteracting measures, as well as fully understands their theoretical explanation; discusses the causes of the underdevelopment and actions aimed at reducing the development gap; knows the development indicators and understands the differences between them and their imperfections.
