  • the annual hourly workload of the student’s work required to achieve the expected learning outcomes for a given stage is 1500-1800h, corresponding to 60 ECTS;
  • the student’s weekly hourly workload is 45 h;
  • 1 ECTS point corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work needed to achieve the assumed learning outcomes;

Short description:

The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the organizational and legal forms of conducting business activity. Special interest of Students will be focused on commercial law companies.

Form of study - full-time.

Course type - specialization.

Field and discipline of science - social sciences, legal sciences.

Year of study / semester - year IV / semester VII.

Prerequisites - none.

The number of hours of didactic classes divided into forms of conducting classes - 30 hours of lecture (including 15 hours of remote asynchronous lecture).

Teaching methods - lecture, consultation, e-learning.

ECTS points - 6.

Student workload balance - participation in classes 30 hours (including 15 hours of remote asynchronous lecture), preparation for classes and exam 60 hours, participation in consultations related to classes 60 hours. Total: 150 hours, corresponding to 6 ECTS credits.

Quantitative indicators - student workload related to activities requiring a teacher's direct participation of 75 hours, which corresponds to 3.0 ECTS credits, and student workload that does not require direct teacher participation 75 hours, which corresponds to 3.0 ECTS credits.

K_U01 - is able to correctly interpret and explain the meaning of specific legal norms and the mutual relations between these norms within a specific field of law

K_U02 - is able to correctly interpret and explain the meaning of specific legal norms and the interrelationships between these norms in an interdisciplinary approach

K_U04 - Understands and is able to independently analyze the causes and course of changes occurring in law; subjects substantive assessment to selected regulations, using research methods used in legal sciences

K_K04 - correctly identifies and resolves dilemmas related to the exercise of the profession

Assessment methods and assessment criteria:

Correct performance of at least 75% of e-learning tasks within the framework of lectures raises the positive final mark by 0.5 degree.

Depending on the development of the epidemic situation the possibility of conducting the examination using electronic means of communication is reserved.

Paper work prepared for the topic given by teacher.
