Założenia (opisowo): | The course is dedicated to diplomatic and consular law. The course discusses the specifics of international diplomatic and conjugal law, primarily from the perspective of treaty norms, but also shows selected examples of national regulations that serve the implementation of international relations - i.e. the foreign service of states. It is divided into two parts. The first one covers introduction and general problems of diplomatic law, basics of international law in the field of diplomatic law, the role of customary law and diplomatic etiquette.This part of the lecture presents detailed issues related to the appointment of embassies and personnel of diplomatic missions. The role of international relations in this regard, especially diplomatic dialogue, is pointed out. The second one focuses on consular law in international law and specificity of consular assistance. This part of the lecture presents detailed issues related to the establishment of consulates and consular staff. The specific nature of the activities of consuls, as opposed to the functions of amabasses, is discussed. |

Pełny opis: |
Profile of studies - general academic. Form of study - stacionary and elearning. Course type - optional. Field and discipline of science - social sciences and legal sciences. Prerequisites - none Number of didactic hours divided into forms of conducting classes - 8 hours of lectures and 8 houres of elearning Didactic methods - lecture, consulations, presentation. ECTS credits - 3. Balance of student workload - participation in classes 15 hours, preparation for classes and credit 37.5 hours, participation in consultations related to classes 22.5 hours Total: 75 hours, which corresponds to 3 ECTS points. Quantitative indicators - student workload related to activities that require direct participation of the teacher 37.5 hours, which corresponds to 1.5 ECTS points, and student workload that does not require direct participation of the teacher 37.5 hours, which corresponds to 1.5 ECTS points. |

Efekty uczenia się: |
KNOWLEDGE. Graduate: KA7_WG3 - has in-depth knowledge of the principles and institutions of criminal, civil, administrative, constitutional law as well as judicial and administrative procedures KA7_WK3 - knows and understands the terminology appropriate to specific disciplines of law SKILLS. Graduate: KA7_UW1 - is able to correctly interpret and explain the meaning of specific legal norms and the mutual relations between these norms within specific areas of law KA7_UO1 - is fluent in the Polish law system, about diplomatic and consular law uses the norms of individual areas of law to solve specific problems by themselves; depending on own interests (selected specialization subjects) has extended skills to solve complicated practical problems in specific fields of law COMPETENCES. Graduate: KA7_KK2 - is able to independently and critically supplement knowledge and skills, extended by the interdisciplinary dimension Verification: for all the effects - written exam, student presentation. Verification of all effects in the form of written credit. Depending on developments in the epidemiological situation, the possibility of carrying out the credit by electronic means is reserved. |
Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
Participation in in the class is mandatory and constitutes the basis for the final grade. If a person misses the class and wants to make it up, it has to be done within 2 weeks during the consutlation hours. Grade scale from 2 to 5. The course will be evaluated based on: 1. multiple choice test of 12 questions. Grading system: 12-11 - 5 10 - 4,5 8-9 - 4 7 - 3,5 6 - 3 2. additional 05, of the grade can be addes based on the student presentation of the selected problems of diplomatic or consular law. |
